What you get

Everything a serious grappler needs

🥋

Complete belt & stripe history

Every promotion recorded permanently — belt colour, stripe count, date, instructor, and grading event. From your very first white belt to black. Your gym doesn't own this. You do.

🗺️

466 BJJ technique heatmap

Self-report your exposure across all 466 technique categories — guard passing, sweeps, submissions, takedowns, escapes, back attacks, leg locks and more. See your game visually. Spot the gaps. Train smarter.

🏆

Competition career record

Log every competition — tournament name, weight class, result (gold, silver, bronze, loss), and notes. Build a permanent record of your competitive career from your first local comp to international titles.

📈

Promotion readiness tracking

Track your progress against every promotion gate: days in rank, total sessions, sessions in the last 90 days, instructor sign-offs, skill assessments, and competition requirements. Know where you stand before you ever step onto a mat for a grading.

📅

Training log

Automatic attendance tracking when you train at a ClubEasy gym. Log sessions manually when you don't. Build a lifetime picture of your mat hours, training consistency, and attendance streaks.

🩹

Injury history

Record injuries with date, body part, severity, and recovery notes. Track patterns over time. Understand whether your training load is sustainable. Stop making the same mistake twice.

🔄

Portable across every gym

Your data lives in your ClubEasy account — not the gym's. Change gyms, take a break, train abroad. Generate a transfer code and your new gym has your full history on day one.

🏠

Works without a gym

No gym? No problem. BJJ Diary works for home practitioners, grapplers between gyms, no-gi only athletes, and anyone who doesn't want to lose their record when their gym closes or switches software.

Technique library

466 techniques.
See your entire game.

Across every position — closed guard, half guard, butterfly, X guard, single-leg X, de la Riva, reverse de la Riva, spider guard, lasso, worm guard, guard passing, side control, mount, back, turtle, leg locks, takedowns, and more.

Self-report which techniques you've drilled. Build a visual heatmap of your exposure. See in seconds where your game is deep, where it's surface-level, and what you've never touched. The kind of self-awareness that used to take years to develop.

Portability

Your gym doesn't own your data.

Every gym management system stores your data in their account. When you leave — or when the gym closes, changes software, or loses your records — it's gone.

BJJ Diary stores everything in your ClubEasy account. Not the gym's. When you move gyms, you generate a transfer code and your new gym has your full history instantly. When you're between gyms, everything is still right there.

Train at a ClubEasy gym → automatic attendance & technique tracking
Train at a non-ClubEasy gym → log sessions manually
Between gyms → keep your diary active for $2/month
Join a new ClubEasy gym → one transfer code moves everything instantly

"I've trained BJJ for 11 years across four gyms. Before this I had no record of any of it. My belt history, the techniques I drilled, the competitions — all gone when gyms closed or changed software. That's exactly what BJJ Diary fixes."

Questions

Frequently asked

Does my gym need to be on ClubEasy?

No. BJJ Diary works whether your gym uses ClubEasy or not. If they do, attendance and technique data sync automatically. If they don't, you log sessions manually. Either way, your belt history, techniques, competition results, and promotion tracking work the same.

What happens if I join a ClubEasy gym?

Your $2/month subscription cancels automatically — the gym's ClubEasy subscription covers your portal access. Everything you logged carries over. Nothing is lost.

Is my data deleted if I cancel?

Never. If you cancel or stop paying, your account becomes read-only — you can still view everything. Reactivate any time to start logging again.

How does this compare to beltchecker.com?

beltchecker.com is a belt registry — it records your belt and not much else. BJJ Diary records your full training career: every technique you've drilled, every competition you've entered, every promotion gate you've passed, every training session, and every injury. It's a diary, not a registry.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. ClubEasy is a Progressive Web App — add it to your home screen from Safari or Chrome and it works exactly like a native app. No app store required.

What belt colours are supported?

All adult belts (white, blue, purple, brown, black, red/black, red/white, red) and all kids belts (white, grey/white, grey, grey/black, yellow/white, yellow, yellow/black, orange/white, orange, orange/black, green/white, green, green/black). Stripes tracked separately for all belts.
